Golmaal Returns

When it comes to comedy genre, I am sure nobody would have forgotten the 'Golmaal (2006)'. But the lovers of 'Golmaal' can now look forward to an another laugh riot. Yes, Rohit Shetty is back, this time with 'Golmaal Returns'. Touted as a sequel to the aforesaid film, 'Golmaal Returns' actually sees the return of the same gang (Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor) minus Sharman Joshi. However, the void left by him is filled to perfection by Shreyas Talpade (of 'Iqbal' fame). The film also has Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Anjana Sukhani and the hot, Celina Jaitley. Although the name 'Golmaal Returns' gives us a hint that it is actually a sequel to the previous film but is actually not. The film has an entirely new plot but with almost the same characters, so you won't be missing out on Tusshar's mute act and Vrijesh Hirji's snake scene. What more with an excellent music score, 'Golmaal returns' is a complete 'paisa vasool' film that is sure to tickle your funny bones. The music by Ashish, Pritam (of Metro and Gangster fame) along with the duo of Vishal & Shekhar has given some sizzling dance numbers including the lavishly shot 'Tha karke' & the club chartbuster 'Tu saala' that are already rocking the charts.

Welcome to Sajjanpur

If you are game for some seriously light-hearted yet realistic fun, then 'Welcome to Sajjanpur' is something that you should not miss out. Directed by Shyam Benegal, the master of parallel cinema, Welcome to Sajjanpur is another glorious offering from his side. Highly critically acclaimed, Welcome to Sajjanpur is a story that has a backdrop of a village with story revolving around a guy whose ability of writing persuasive letters earns him recognition from far and east. The film has an impressive star cast that boasts of names like Shreyas Talpade, Amrita Rao, Ila Arun, Divya Dutta, Rajeshwari Sachdev and Kunal Kapoor. Dark Knight

Highly acclaimed director, Christopher Nolan is again back with his latest film 'Dark Knight'. Shot to perfection, Dark Knight is a film-noir that stars Christian Bale as "Bruce Wayne' who reprises the role of 'Batman' in the film. The film also sees Heath ledger in the role of the scary 'Joker'. The film also stars Aaron Eckhart who plays the role of 'Harvey Dent & Two-Face'. Dark Knight is, definitely, a masterpiece that has some stunning special affects and brilliantly shot action scenes. But the USP of the film remains the 'Joker' (played with perfection by Heath Ledger). This was Heath's last film as an actor before his untimely death due to a drug overdose. However, before his exit he made sure that he delivers the best and he did so in the 'Dark Knight'. As a film maker' probably this was Christopher Nolan's finest work till date. His incredible direction combined
with a powerful script that instigated him to extract the best out of his star cast. The result is there for all of us to see. A true delight for the ardent film fans, Dark Knight after receiving accolades from both audience and critics is all set to conquer the 'Oscars'.

A fun filled caper, Dhamaal promises to be a laughter riot for its viewers. Brilliantly etched screenplay and script are the USP of this comic caper. Also Indra
Kumar (director), the captain of Ship has managed to extract some highly decent performance from his actors. Though sans a female name in the film (the only recognised name is Sanjay Dutt), this 70-mm venture never lets its viewers down at
any point of time. The scenes are refreshing and even the jokes does not look jaded. The climax is something that is totally unexpected yet is satisfying, since it ends on a very good note which can be definitely tagged as the high-point of the film.
Good music score and good plot make this film, worth a watch.

Rab Ne bana di Jodi

The lethal duo of Aditya Chopra & Shahrukh Khan is back again, this time with their film called 'Rab ne bana di Jodi'. The last time the duo came together was in 'Mohabattein'. Rab ne bana di Jodi is Aditya Chopra's third film made under his
father's reputed banner 'Yash Raj films'. He comes back after a sabbatical of nine years and is highly expected to repeat the success of his first film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. The film also sees Anushka Sharma playing the role of lady love of Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh whose last outing on the silver screen was the
blockbuster 'Om Shanti Om' where he was seeing displaying a six-pack abs has again metamorphosed into a lover boy but this time his age is on a higher side (at least, that is what the promos suggests). Music by Salim-Sulaiman has already created ripples, with Sukhwinder Singh's 'Haule Haule', a love ballad reigning at the top
spot of all the music shows. Great music, Aditya Chopra direction, Shahrukh Khan and a stage set for mature love story, Rab ne bana di Jodi looks all set to rewrite the history books again.

Ghajini

After 'Taare Zameen Par', Aamir Khan gears for delivering another knock-out power punch with 'Ghajini'. Ghajini, a remake of Tamil film of the same name sees Asin, Aamir Khan and Jiah Khan in the film. Originally, Ghajini is an adaptation of a Hollywood film 'Memento', directed by Christopher Nolan (of Dark Knight fame). The film is an out & out action-thriller that sees Aamir Khan playing the role of a young entrepreneur who is beaten brutally in his bid to save his love from the goons but fails miserably. The latter part of the film sees an aggressive but bald Aamir Khan sporting eight-pack abs, suffering from a peculiar disease due to which his memory lasts for only 15 minutes. Music by A R Rahman and the much-hyped storyline are complete turn-ons for the viewers of Ghajini's promos. Directed by AR Murugadass (who also directed the Tamil version of the film) and produced by Allu Arvind, Ghajini is being touted as one of the biggest and much-awaited releases of this winter.

'Dharma Productions' latest silver screen venture is 'Dostana'. Produced by Karan Johar, Dostana sees the debut of Tarun Mansukhani as a director. The film is a love triangle that has Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra in the leading roles. The film also has 'Bobby Deol' in a significant role. Karan Johar, who himself is highly-acclaimed director, has dedicated this film to his late father. The film sees Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham playing a gay couple (Yes, its true!!) who are actually vying for Priyanka's attention who has played the role of a siren. Dostana also sees her in skimpy and hot swimming costume emerging out of sea water (a reminiscent of Bo Derek's bikini scene in 'Ten'). Shot in beautiful scenic location, Miami, the film has music from Vishal & Shekhar. 'Desi Girl', 'Jaane Kyun' and not to forget 'Shut up and bounce' which sees Shilpa Shetty doing a special item song in the most hot outfits have already become a rage amongst the people. With an unusual storyline and a big star cast, Dostana is definitely going to set the box office on fire.

Starring Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Mugdha Godse, Fashion is a powerfully etched and women-centric drama that explores the big bad world of modelling circuit. Madhur Bhandarkar, who is known for making films based on hard-hitting subjects, has delivered a gem in the form of Fashion. Madhur, who shot to fame with Chandni bar, has also directed films like Traffic Signal, Corporate and National award winning 'Page 3' to his credit. Music by the duo Salim-Sulaiman is already on the lips of every person, especially songs like 'Mar jaava' and 'Jalwa' by Sukhwinder Singh have already become chartbusters. Released on Diwali, Madhur Bhandarkar's film have been courted with controversies with claims being made that Kangana Ranaut's character is loosely based on the estranged model, Gitanjali Nagpal and also for the alleged
wardrobe malfunction scene filmed on Kangana Ranaut again. Even the censor board has summoned the director of Fashion to edit some extremely objectionable content in the film which includes a love-making scene between Priyanka Chopra and Arjan Bajwa (who plays her love interest) and a gay kissing scene.

Sanjay Gadhvi's latest film Kidnap stars Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan and the sultry Minnisha Lamba in pivotal roles. The film revolves around the quest of a father (Sanjay Dutt) to get her estranged daughter (Minnisha Lamba) from the captivity of Imran Khan (in a surprisingly sadistic avatar). Karzzz A True Love Story
